Corrections Policy – DXB Facts

Last Updated: 04 June 2025

At DXB Facts, we uphold accuracy, integrity, and transparency in all our editorial content. This Corrections Policy outlines our procedures for identifying and rectifying errors, ensuring our readers receive reliable and corrected information when necessary.

1. Minor Corrections

For minor issues such as:

  • Typos

  • Grammatical mistakes

  • Formatting errors

  • Small numerical inaccuracies that do not affect the overall meaning or context of the article

We update the content directly without issuing a correction notice. These changes are considered routine edits and are made to improve clarity and accuracy.

2. Substantive Corrections

When an error involves a:

  • Factual mistake

  • Omission

  • Misrepresentation

  • Or any content that materially changes the meaning or accuracy of a story

We will:

  • Update the article with the corrected information

  • Add a correction note at the end of the article explaining the change

  • Seek approval from the Deputy Editor before publishing the correction

  • Notify all relevant editorial team members once the correction is made

3. Transparency & Accountability

All corrections are made transparently to maintain the trust of our readers. We encourage feedback and take every report of a potential error seriously.
